Hi, I’m Ema.

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics at the University of Washington.

My work is on causal inference through the lens of graphical models. I’m interested in using graphical models to construct intuitive methodologies for causal identification and estimation from observational data.

My Ph.D. advisor was Marloes Maathuis at the SfS, ETH Zurich.
